Perfect Earth® Koi Clay

Duplicating the pond bottoms of ancient Japan, Perfect Earth® Calcium Bentonite clay contains the ideal balance of Calcium, Magnesium and trace minerals for Koi and fish health.  We have identified a specific geological deposit of the highest quality Calcium Bentonite clay that gives fish the micronutrients that they need for improved health and heightened color. 

The bentonite also has the highest absorption levels of any commercially available Calcium Bentonite. This allows it to remove toxins – such as Copper – from the water more efficiently than other clays.  The leading absorption level improves water clarity.

Stop clouding the water! Perfect Earth® is available in a unique form as small pellets. Perfect Earth® makes larger fish friskier as they love to play with the pellets. The fish eat some of the pellets and they play with the remaining pellets like cats with a ball of string.

The pellets and granules gradually dissolve (without clouding the water for hours as powdered clays do) and they release their trace minerals and with the remaining mineral matrix available for absorbing toxins. The mud formed at the pond bottom mimics the mud found in the bottom of sacred Koi ponds in Japan."

What makes Perfect Earth® so special?

• Perfect Earth® is uniquely available as small (1/2") pellet-briquettes.
• The pellets sink to the pond bottom and disintegrate in about one hour. Unlike powdered clays, the pellets produce very little cloudiness in the water.
• The product releases Calcium and Magnesium and other minerals in the same rate that powdered clays do. Fish absorb some of the minerals by eating the clay but most is by absorbed through their skin.

What is Montmorillonite Clay?

A unique, natural mineral (Bentonite Clay) that can slowly release small amounts of important ions into the water through its unique ion exchange capability.  This same unique molecular lattice absorbs undesirable organic compounds from the water such as heavy metals and decaying organic material.  This can reduce the spread of bacterial diseases.

Perfect Earth® is a selectively mined and produced mineral of Calcium Bentonite clay. The product is available as pellets for easy pond distribution without producing a voluminous cloud in the water like other Koi clay supplements.
